Thoughts on a new section

Starting tomorrow, I’m going to start adding a new daily section to the newsletter! It will cover a particular stock each day and highlight a bunch of helpful metrics.

In the next few posts, I’ll provide background on the metrics I’ll be highlighting and their rationale. Over time, I’ll continually improve this daily stock highlight template with the hope of it being the ultimate quick cheat sheet for any given company.

I think this new section will useful for anyone like me who is inundated with news about a very narrow group of stocks. Even for companies in the major indices, there are so many stocks I’m unfamiliar with compared to the level of familiarity I’d like to have. So, a daily deep-dive on metrics will be a consistent way to build more market knowledge.
