Waiting for the next thing

Not a lot to say today. In fact, I had so much trouble thinking of something to say that I realized that was a story in and of itself!

The market has been having a nice bounce back and a lot of big earnings releases are in. Mostly positive too. So, this earnings quarter is pretty much figured out.

For data releases, the next big thing in my mind is the upcoming consumer price index print on August 10th.

Between now and then though, we’d need to see some non-financial news come up or some other big narrative form to make something really change the picture. I guess we will just have to wait a bit then!
