The number of job openings is falling but I’d say it’s more of a moderation back to a more normal trend:
Companies aren’t really laying people off though:
But hiring has slowed a bit:
And, quits remain high:
Overall, it’s not a bad picture and certainly not one indicative of a recession!
Hey how does the quit rate work? Is it already annualized or do you need to multiply 3% times 12?
