The industrials sector was the sixth biggest sector in the stock market at the end of 2021. It has one industry over a trillion in market cap so valuations have some degree of parity compared to other sectors:
Unlike some of the other sectors we have looked at, the constituents of the largest industry aren’t dominated by one or two massive companies:
Though with some stocks (like Boeing) they would have stood out a lot more a few years ago in terms of size:
What’s fun about industrials is that there are tangible businesses, like railroads:
