The dot-com bubble in review
The QQQ is an extremely popular ETF that tracks the Nasdaq 100. It has done quite well over the last 22 years:
However, it had a very long period of many years where it didn’t set a new all-time high:
That’s because, the Nasdaq took a giant fall when the dot-com bubble popped:
Recently, the index has fallen a bit. I’m not sure if it has hit its lowest point yet but we can watch for an upturn in the moving averages for some confirmation of a bottom:
This chart kind of looks ridiculous but if you squint you can parse out that the index has been hovering closer to oversold levels on the RSI:
That being said, volatility remains elevated, so be careful out there:
