Yesterday, I released a new Google Sheet with 1000 popular stocks. A giant sheet with lots of data is neat and all but what really matters is distilling the important information out of it!
To do that, I’ve got three new charts I’ll be throwing into the newsletter every so often that are similar to the ETF volume charts. (I know those were supposed to be a daily section but I quickly decided that they will be “every so often” sections instead - but look for those again soon!) Essentially, it’s just more visual tools to help us better understand what the market is doing. So, let’s take a look at some stocks.
Tesla isn’t the biggest stock by market capitalization but the daily volume is often massive:
Netflix was the big news of the day - people didn’t like their earnings release so the stock dropped. Check out NIO as well, up with Tesla:
And, oh wait, NIO is not doing so well this year. But Microsoft and Nvidia are killing it! With Facebook and Alibaba not too far behind:
I’ll be dropping plenty of new chart variations based on data from the stock database soon. So, be on the lookout for more company-focused analysis in addition to the broader economic trends!
